The song is based on the rich Peruvian folklore from Ayacucho, Apurimac and Cuzco Departments, inspired by the socio-economic events of 1983 that occurred on those three departments; it contains typical harmonies from Ayacucho and a rhythmic pattern from the musical style of Huamanga city.
